It's just going through its cycle of sweeping and cleaning.

I notice the time it takes is proportional to the size of the file/folder being deleted.

Just like your computer.

After deleting either a text file or folder from one of my 2GB cards, the BP seems to freeze for about a minute. Then everything is back to normal.
