As Anna says, if the CompactFlash card, itself, is completely full, adding
folders will make no difference. The transfer software will not warn you if
you try to put too many files into the root directory, though...what happens
is that you will receive errors when you try to listen to a file if there
are too many in the root directory. The net of this is that while using
folders on the Book Port is always advised, you can still only put the
amount of material allowed by your CF card onto it and if you try to put
more than the card permits, you will receive the errors you mentioned
because the software doesn't monitor the amount of material you've marked
for transfer. That's your responsibility.

Hi
I had expected BookPort to stop downloading when it was full. It does not
do that.
