These are Microsoft format book files and there are some conversion programs
around. I'd suggest trying a search on Google using the terms ".lit",
"convert", and maybe ".txt" (without the quotes, of course).

Donna, what do you mean by lit files? If the lit in this case is the
abbreviation for literature, in what format are the files now?

Subject: [bookport] Converting lit files

Hi

I have quite a few lit files which I would like to convert to text so that
I can listen to them on my Bookport. Does anyone have any suggestions as
to how I can do this?

Thanks in advance for any help.
