Hello: Copy all the files from your old card to a folder on your hard drive and then transfer them back to your new card. That way, you will keep the files the way you had them before. Please ensure that all the hidden files are also transferred to your hard drive. You can go to Windows Explorer and set your folders to show hidden files for this purpose. I'm going to be getting a new card tonight. It's a 1 GB card and I'd like to be able to have all the files that I have on my current card plus some new ones. But I'm curious, if I put the files onto the new card using the Book Port transfer software will my place in the file be retained or is that card specific? And, if I copy the files from one card onto my hard drive and then onto my new card will this work since it will be copying all the files that were originally on the old card? I'm trying to avoid having to start over completely if I can help it. Thanks.
