I know I couldn't. I'm too busy saving up for BookPort The NExt Generation
with my wish-list incorperated into it. <GRIN>

And if you could, could you afford it? <grins> Right now, the largest that I can find on www.dealram.com is an 8 Gb card for $661.

Hmmm, it'd make the unit bigger. Sorry, I for one don't see the need. If one cf card can't have enough on it to read, then you have way more time than I do.

Just wondering if it would be possible, and if so if there would beinterest in a future Bookport model with 1, 2, or even 3 CF card storage slots embedded in the Bookport itself.
I've had the misfortune of losing a 1GB card; I think it must have fallenout of my carrying case when I needed to change batteries. Having additional CF cards "on-board" might be handy, and this could be a convenient and secure way to do so.
The current CF card is on the right side of the BP, roughly at the levelbetween the 3 and the # keys that are positioned on the top of the BP. If interior space permitted, "dummy" slots possibly could be include at any or all of the following locations: 1--on the right side, below the current card slot, roughly at the level between the # and F keys; 2--on the left side, across from the current CF card slot, roughly at the level between the 1 and * keys; and 3--on the left side, roughly at the level between the * and D keys.
