after introduction of fat32/4gig, aph said to me they did not know any
reason why 8gig should not work. however as they did not test it, they did
not support it but everyone is free to try it out on own responsibility.

Someone from APH recently stated that at the moment there is an effective 
4GB limit. I forgot what the reason given was, but it was stated int he 
archives.
