There also other cheaper methods of doing the same thing in case you don't own 
kurzwell or OpenBook.  Text Aloud from www.nextup.com will do this for $30 and 
there are free alternatives as well but I don't know any of them without doing 
a google search for them.


Also the BP transfer software can do this for free providing you have other 
SAPI voices on the system.

  if you have kurzweil 10+, just import it into an mp3 audio file using 
viavoice, which is just like jfw eloquence, basically. YOu won't be able to 
navigate as easily, but putting it as a daisy file should let you navigate by, 
at least, sentences, and paragraphs, plus any other sections in the file.
