Hi,

To get the BookShare book onto the Book Port, you need to use the Book Port transfer tool. An easy way to accomplish getting the BookShare book onto the Book Port is to download the DAISY book onto your pc and use the Book Share unpack tool to unpack the book. Once the book has been unpacked, you will have four or five files in a folder. Use windows explorer to access this folder and highlight the file that ends with a .opf extension. Right click on this file by pressing the windows context key and choose the send to option. Then choose send to book port and the book will be transferred to the book port.

Let me make sure that I'm following the conversation. When I put the bookshare book onto my bookport, I only need to move the one with the .opf file extension. It will read OK on bookport. Just wanting to be clear since I'm just joining bookshare.

When you download a book in daisy format from Bookshare, you'll have four files
for that book after you unpack it. These are needed for you to be able to do
anything with the book. However, when you look at what bookport will download it will show only one file, the .opf file. But you need to keep the others on
your computer as long as you want that book. Hope this helps.
