I don't get quite the high battery life Nolan gets, but using 2.3 I don't
have the problems Dave is having at all.  I'm playing more mp3 files these
days than I was before so can't make a total comparison, but I'm sure my
battery life hasn't deteriorated in 2.3.  I agree that the problem is likely
the batteries.
