Thanks to Cassandra for the tip-off on this card discount.
Unfortunately,
the sale was only through Nov. 4th.
The info I found out about Staples is:
1. if the stores have such deals, the website probably does too.
2. when using the site, if you don't already have an account set up, the
process to set up an on-line account requires the dreadful visual
verification before you can ever enter the promo code...this is where I
got
stuck Friday night.
3. you can, however, call their toll-free phone at 1-800-389-2853
(1-800-3STAPLE), and if you have the card model number (for the Sandisk 1
G.
card the BP can use it's SDCFB1024A10). I asked if the discount was
useable
for phone orders, and if it applied to only one unit or had a limit.
Surprisingly there was no limit they could find, and I got the quantity I
wanted all for the discount price.
You can also ask them to set up an on-line account for you, and that
should
(hopefully) bypass that annoying visual verification in the future.
