[bookcourier] change battery

I knew it was due but my batteries ran out almost immediately last night. I
did n't use the "change battery" command but simply put new ones in.
The command seems to do more than just save the current settings. When I
pushed "5" it had lost my settings as expected, but it had also lost any
idea of which file I was in. It forgot the file as well as the folder.
