Hi Guy,
More features for MP3 playback are coming in future firmware releases.
Thanks Bruce
I intend to operate MP3 Audio files mainly. I find the voice synthesiser
installed within the BC very difficult to listen too for long periods of
time. This and the voice recorder are the only weaknesses contained in such
an otherwise excellent device.
Guy

Hello again Guy,
I can't find the recommendation for where to buy Flash Cards in the UK but you can search for a source on http:\\froogle.google.co.uk
Search for something like "2GB compact flash".
Note: Compact Flash type 2, sometimes called microdrive, does not fit in the
BC. You need Compact Flash type 1.
Bruce.

Hello
I purchased the Book Courier console just over 12 months ago and it has proved to be a very handy resource. However, at the time of purchase there were a couple of bugs inherent in the device i.e. Table of contents did not work and I had some problems with the time features. Could anyone let me know if these problems have been resolved, furthermore would any UK BC user recommend a good size memory card that I could purchase an where it could be brought. Hi. Nope the list isn't new. It's been around for at least a year or so.
That's how long I've been subscribed at any rate. A few weeks back there
was a huge argument on list about batteries. I'm guessing that since
then, everyone's been kind of hesitant to say anything, or maybe a bunch
of people have unsubscribed. It's good to see people posting again
though.

well, Humm!
is it just that there isn't any new news with the bookcourier? Or,is it that every one is geting ready to go to conventions, or, have already left or is there just so few subscribers to this list that it's silent ? What's the deal? I haven't gotten any mail on this list since June 18, 05!and responsive when and if problems arise.Claude Everett ----- Original Message ----- From: M Kilburn To: bookcourier@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, June 18, 2005 4:49 PM Subject: [bookcourier] Re: Book Port

Hi There:
My thanks to all of you who provided comparisons between the Bookbought the better product.
I'm pleased that as a Book courier user it certainly looks like I
I was also considering purchasing the Book worm from Handiest inGermany, with its Braille output. However, it only contains 4 megs of memory, and will not store read mp3 or even brf files.
Once again, thanks to all of you.
