[bookcourier] Battery status of rechargables

Hi Listers
I downloaded the latest update and after installing it I find that when
I enquire about the status of the rechargeble nicol metal hydrid
batteries in my BC I get the message "battery status unknown".
I must state that this is the first time that I inserted rechargeebles
in the BC and I did change the particular setting. so, should I not use
nicol metal hydrid batteries?
