Captain Neil Conroy had crashed in a new American supersonic fighter, the
VX-92. His co-pilot had been killed. At the subsequent court martial Conroy is
found guilty of negligence and accepts this verdict in a manner very
supervising to his friends and to Congressman Ben Safford. Is there a flaw in
the VX-92? Or in the system of justice? Or Both? Ben Safford is determined to
find out.
