I meant, perfectly read by David Rintoule.  He did a wonderful job in
catching Howard's near despair and his constant patient courtesy as
well as the childishness of his various charges and the viciousness of
the Gestapo officer at the end.  Perfect to convey the characters and
the whole of the book.
