a body is found in the kitchen of a house,
looks like a suspicious death,
inspector jack robinson asks Phryne fisher for help, she's a private detective,
it is found out later the lady was poisoned,
then fisher goes to work at a women's magazine, to try and find out who sent
threatening letters to this person,
and on top of that, her lover, Lin Chung, is captured by pirates while on a
ship,
