Trust your eyes, by Linwood Barclay. The book is on BARD. It's not on bookshare. 35 year old Thomas Kilbride who suffers from schizophrenia believes he is working for the CIA. President Bill Clinton calls him from time to time to encourage him, to ask questions, and to let him know his progress reports have been received. Thomas has a phenomenal memory and has been fascinated by maps since a small child. His assignment is to memorize every street in every country in the entire world using a virtual mapping program. He rarely leaves his bedroom and his computer and his work. His brother Ray returns home after their father dies in an accident. Thomas is working his way down a New York City street when he sees a woman being murdered through a third floor window and he shows the scene to his brother. A high school friend of the brothers, who is now a reporter comes into the story as do friends of the father. The two occupants of the third floor apartment come into it. A very powerful man and his friend who has taken care of things for him for years come into it as well. There are plenty of twisted threads in this book and they all get tied up eventually. This is a fantastic story, the absolute best the author has written so far. Good reading. Rosemarie
