After a recent form of auto-update to gom player, while interface was
still usable, I just didn't really like the interface, etc., quite as
much as before, so, went and pulled a slightly older version off
oldVersion.com, and, it's now back to exactly how I prefer it to
act/behave/work:
http://www.oldversion.com/windows/gom-player-2-1-6-3499
Windows 10's smart screen told me this was a risk, but, just told it to
install it in any case, and after initial configuration wizard, also
just told gom player not to bother checking for updates, for now...<smile>
Anyway, that site, oldversion.com is something that might be useful in
other contexts at times, which is partly why thought should post this here.
Stay well
