Just out of curiosity, what's the cost of the unit discussed here?

Ok. Had the thing with me for a couple of weeks and while I might not
quite
have 'tested'/used it quite enough, I did play with it, and there are
only a
couple of small issues I did find with it, and here they are:
1. Basically, if I was sitting inside my house such that the actual GPS
unit
couldn't 'see' the satellites, I couldn't as such try to find POIs even
though I am pretty sure that the maps etc. are actually on the actual
gadget, but it basically wouldn't let me search, plan routes etc. unless
it
could actually 'see' the satellites.
2. If I was actually travelling in my friends car or whatever, but was
trying to use the menus to do whatever, sometimes when it next prompted
me
about being another street etc. it would 'interrupt' the menu etc. and I
would have to 'start over'. Only seemed to happen sometimes, but
anyway...
3. If it had defined a route and I activated it and then we either had a
small diversion, or just chose to choose a different road for one
section
etc., it would just state that it needed to have the route recalculated
which instead of being something that happens automatically, like most
other
GPS devices, seems to be a specific function that you have to activate,
which is basically fine if you're in someones car, but I really wouldn't
want to, for example, pull out such an expensive/small gadget if I was
in
the street, or on a public bus etc. etc. since it might make you a bit
of a
target or something.
I also checked out the extra PDA functionality that comes with the
Maestro
option like e-mail, calendar, media player etc. etc., and they're nice
if
somewhat limited.
Apart from these issues, it's definitely a nice thing, and I would like
to
have bought it, but to be honest, it's a bit expensive, so I'm rather
going
to look into alternatives like Wayfinder Access, Loadstone etc., that
run
off of your cellphone running either MobileSpeak, or the Talks one I've
got,
which while they might not be as advanced, should cost me a lot less.
