Not sure if someone else has brought this up before, but, it impressed me quite
a bit right now.

On this page, you'll find the information, and download link for the google
speech recognition add-in for NVDA:
http://addons.nvda-project.org/addons/googleSpeechRecognition.en.html

It's only like 300Kb big, and think what it does is literally submit your
recorded voice clip to something like google's voice recognition engine,
online, but, it offers a list of 32 languages, and lets you switch between them
easily, and ue the voice recognition in any editable text field, and, for
example, the two following bits of text are results:

ek prat nou afrikans

and now i'm speaking english

In other words, it got both of those exactly right, within like 5 seconds, and
only thing I did find is that I do need to talk a little bit carefully/clearly
to make sure it recognises what I am saying, but, for thos two little bits of
text used Afrikaans - obviously - and english GB, and in under 5 seconds each,
it came back with the results above that literally just got pasted into this
email's contents.

And, was also very easy to use - NVDA key + Y to toggle between languages
selected from list, NVDA key + shift + G to start recording, and same to stop,
and then when it told me result, NVDA key + G, and, voila! LOL!

Stay well
