Not sure if/when this was brought up here before, but, I think it was
developed by the same guys who produced thunder, free PC screen reader at some
stage, screenreader.net.
Either way, just playing around with it now on a jellybean 4.1, full touch
screen phone, and definitely think some guys might prefer this simplified,
specifically accessible home screen alternative:

Only issue was it set my phone's volume to it's default settings, but, was
easy enough to change back to louder than normal again afterwards, and while
not sure would really prefer this over nova launcher myself, it seems
clean/nice enough, and, it's specifically meant to be accessible as
well...<smile>
