Acts Bridges is an NPO who believes in and promotes equality for all people. We
are involved in a variety of community projects wherein we strive to^ uplift
persons with disabilities. You are welcome to visit our webpage at:
www.basileia.co.za<http://www.basileia.co.za> to read more about Acts Bridges.
Presently we are busy compiling a survey to determine how many disabled people
would be interested in a door-to-door transportation service to get them to
their workplace. Bus services in Pretoria are not very reliable or
disabled-friendly. The above-mentioned areas are those most affected by the
poor standard of public transport. Acts Bridges perceive this as a challenge
that we need to meet. Our goal is to take hands with the different communities
in Pretoria to make this project a community project.
Acts Bridges is eager to get the project up and running as soon as possible. We
therefore request that everybody who has a challenge with mobility and sight HO
email the following information to
reception@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:reception@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
• Name and Surname
• Contact Details
• Home and Work areas
• Nature of Disability / Injury
The information given will assist us greatly in compiling an accurate proposal
to companies who are interested getting involved in the project, by means of
donations, sharing this service, or encouraging their staff members to make use
of the transportation offered.
A small, affordable fee will be payable by commuters. The money will
be utilised in the
different
community projects Acts Bridges are involved in.
As a community we can make a difference in the daily commuting of
persons who face a variety of
challenges. Your support in this matter will be highly appreciated. \
We look forward to hear from you soonest. \
