This virtual android version, blueStacks, seems to be runnable on both windows
PC, and offers a mac version:
http://www.bluestacks.com/

Have gotten it running on my windows7 64 bit PC, and while had to get my
sighted wife to find settings, and turn on things like accessibility and
talkback, when it's now running it does speak to me, and have also managed to
install a couple of android apps on it using the windows explorer context menu
items it added on during it's own installation, and can launch the vOICe, and
get it to run inside this virtual machine now.

Only issue is trying to figure out how to actually interact with the virtual
machine using the windows/hardware keyboard, since what some other virtual
implementations apparently allow you to use - seems like combinations of
windows/keyboard's context menu key, along with other keys, like menu key + P
meant to bring up settings, this doesn't seem to work, as of yet, and will need
to experiment a bit more and play around with how/if jaws etc. are also
possibly interfering with it, but, seems like you can use primarily the tab and
arrow keys to navigate around, use enter key to double click on items, and if
you hold down physical mouse left button, and drag cursor around the screen it
seems like explore by touch does read things to you - but not all of them, and
not 100% sure if you then still need to double click, or do something like
quadruple click to bypass explore by touch as such...<smile>

Either way, this is the first virtual version of android have managed to get
working/running for real on my windows PC, along with getting talkback, etc. to
run inside it, so, let's see...

Stay well
