Glazed Acorn Squash

3 medium-size acorn squash
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons melted butter
Pinch of salt
3 tablespoons brown sugar
Pinch of black pepper

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cut acorn squash in half and then
quarters. With a spoon, scoop out the seeds. Cut a slice from the
bottom of each piece of squash so that it will set stable. In a small
pan, heat all other ingredients, stirring until dissolved and blended
well. Place the squash onto a foil-lined sheet pan and brush the
glaze evenly onto the squash. Cook about 1 hour until tender. Serve
immediately.

Makes 12 servings.
