My test PC was picked up today to be replaced with a new hard drive. It will
take 3 weeks to be fixed and I do not have Replay Media Catcher 5 on the
computer I am typing this message to you. Rob and others can you please test
his/her URLs links to see if you have the sluggishness on your end?

You might want to write a ticket to Applian tech support and provide the URLs
links and what operating systems you have and explain the sluggishness.

i will be providing content that you can test with need to gather a few
URLS first.
like i stated before i am using windows xp and 32 bit windows 7 64 bit
When capturing files the computers are sluggish, and do not respond like they
should.
When not capturing, or not having the program open it works just fine to
navagate

    Hey there -

I haven’t noticed any sluggishness with Replay Media Catcher myself - at
all.
But I have passed along this thread to the tech support team for Replay
Media Catcher so they can reply and comment.

    Please stay tuned for that.
    Thanks

One would think Applian would have noticed a noticeable sluggishness a long
time ago in beta period. I was not involved in the beta. Please send me some
URLs that you are trying to capture.

Ok, the mse does not do a system scan, using window eyes, and nvda for
screen readers.
we never auto scan so it it is not doing that
Shorter files do not seem to be as much of a problem as longer files,
Petro are you only capturing short files? or long ones as well.

I do not have this issue here. Did two youtube captures and was able to
use my computer like my mail.
This was done using Vista and JAWS 15 on my test machine.
Leslie and others what is your experience? Does your computer become
sluggish when Replay Media Catcher is active?
One tip I can give is do not do captures when your antivirus program is
doing a full system scan.

Are you saying your computer becomes sluggish when RMC5 is running
and you try to use other parts of your computer like sending mail, browsing the
web?
Does it become sluggish when you are capturing with RMC5?
I will test this on the weekend but I am using Windows Vista here.

When using any screen reader when i try and navagate through my
computer i have a very sluggish time of it.
is this a product of the replay media catcher, or did something
not go quite right when installing it?
i have a iintell core 2 duo 2.2 ghz processor with 2.2 gigs of
ddr3 ram running windows xp home 32 bit.
              Please advise.
