This only applies to radio station streams which do not allow you to use the
Replay AV 8 stream capture method. This means one must use the "audio output"
method. This is found in properties, recording tab page.

When you record using the audio output method the station's audio is heard
through your speakers and sometimes you do not want to hear the station's audio
through speakers but to use your screen reader for other tasks while recording
the station's stream.

There is a way to silence the station's audio while recording has begun for
you. If you are recording a Windows Media Player stream you will get a "Replay
Tuner" dialog box with: stop, mute, volume slider. If you tab to this mute
button and press the spacebar on it the audio that you hear through your
speakers will be muted and the audio will be recorded for you by Replay AV 8.42
silently in the background. And of course your screen reader's speech does not
recorded at any time here and that is a good thing.

Whether you will see the "Replay Tuner" dialog for every audio output recording
you do I am not sure.

I never touched this mute button as I thought it might disable my speech from
JAWS but it does not affect JAWS at all.

Hope this helps.
