[blindeudora] tried to cut and paste a file name

i wanted to put the names of two files in an email message, so i
highlighted them, hit control c, found the place in my email message and
hit control v. the names didn't appear in the text, so i just memorized
them and put tthem in.
now, whenever i open eudora i get an error message that the files cannot be
opened. this is going on for several hours.
any ideas on how to stop this?
