[blindeudora] selecting names from my address book

Hi,
Since moving to my new computer I now find I can't select names from the
address book in the usual ways.
Alt c doesn't work, control end from the first name doesn't work, control
down arrow doesn't work. IN all cases no text is selected.
I'm using Eudora 6.2 with JAWS 5.1.
Any new suggestions?
