Hello everyone.' There has been discussion on this list concerning Eudora's tendency to crash somewhere in the message session - either composition or message reading. People who have experienced this seem to link Eudora's interaction with Jaws as the basic cause. Over the last few days, there has been discussion on other Eudora lists, which link crashing with message saving: in other words - repeated message saving during message composition seems to bring with it an unexplainable crash. So: I wonder if Jaws may not of itself be part of the problem, and wonder if people should take a look at Eudora's settings. Message autosave is the relevant setting, access via alt-t-o (tools, options) and then arrow to the miscellaneous settings. Probably slight variations depending on Eudora versions. When tabbing through, there is an edit box which allows to set the minutes interval between message autosaves. I have mine set to 10 and have never thought about it until now. It does meant hat if Eudora crashes for any reason during the time it takes to compose this message, I should be able to retrieve it up to the last auto-save. I might be totally off knowing the problem that people are having: It doesn't happen for me with Window-Eyes, but comments have been such that is message save is too frequent, along with lots of other open windows being processed, Eudora crashing occurs.
