[blindeudora] Sending Mail from Outlook.com with Eudora

I have created an Outlook.com account and want to send it with Eudora. Dogpiling found me all the proper server settings, which I am pasting below. I can download and check email just fine but get the following error when attempting to send mail:

I did actually log into my outlook.com account and set up and verified everything as directedbut am still getting the error. 

I  am pasting the Eudora settings I have below.

outlook.com settings I have:

Generic properties --
Email address: your chosen outlook.com email address
User name: login ID for outlook.com (may not be the same as the outlook.com email address you are checking; mine isn't) 
SMTP server: smtp.live.com
SMTP server settings: "authentication allowed" and "use submission port 587" are checked 
Secure sockets when sending: If available, STARTTLS

Incoming mail --
Server: pop3.live.com
Configuration: POP
Authentication style: Passwords
Secure sockets when receiving: Required, alternate port.
