My friend, you will need to employ a different type of microphone. I am not
an expert, but I do know special mikes are made for outside dynamic
recording. Do some research on Amazon for user reviews and internet review
articles.

Subject: [blindav] advice on recording outside using an olimpus recorder?

hey all,
i use an olimpus DM5 recorder and i love it a lot.
One problem has always bothered me. Because of the sensitivity of the
microphones Wind noise is always picked up. Is there any material that is
porous enough to let Sound go through but block the wind sound? It does not
matter what sensitivity settings you have the microphones on the Wind noise
is still overpowering.
any help on this would be fantastic.
thanks
