Philadelphia Computer Users' Group for the Blind and Visually Impaired

Our next phone meeting is scheduled for Friday, February 24 at 8:00 PM Eastern time.

Possible topics we could talk about are:

1. NVDA 2017.1 is now available as a release candidate and the final version could be out by the time of our meeting. It offers, among other things, improved support for Microsoft Edge as well as amazing support for the Kindle app. I'd be curious as to whether anybody has worked with this new version. I haven't worked with it using Edge yet but I'm quite impressed with how it works with version 1.19 of the Kindle app.
2. MAGic 14 and Zoomtext 11 have been released and I'd love to hear from anybody who has worked with these new versions.
3. Now that most TV providers are releasing accessible versions of their products, I'd also love to hear from anybody who has been working with products from companies such as Dish, Directv, Verizon Fios, Tivo, Spectrum and similar products.
4. A new version of the NVDA Remote addon was released with Braille support. I'd be curious as to whether people have used this addon, particularly with Braille displays.
5. LibreOffice, the free office suite, released version 5.3 this month. I'm very curious as to whether anybody has used this set of programs and how well it performs with your screen reader of choice.

Beside these possibilities, any topic is welcome, whether it's about Windows, iOS or Android, JAWS or VoiceOver, it's all fine. Favorite apps, newly discovered ones, let's talk about it.
