HOW TO REMOVE COMPARTMENTS OR DIVISIONS FROM APH 4 GIG
CARTRIDGES
1 Connect cartridge to your computer using its own cable.
2 Go to "my computer" by hitting the letter [c].
3 Arrow through the items listed in the "this pc" area the first place
you're dropped in, after hitting enter on that letter [c].
4 When your hear your screen reader say the number of drives listed there,
continue arrowing down, until you hear "removable disk [d]" or whatever
alphabet letteris assigned to your cartridge.
5 Don't hit enter there, because you don't want to open it to view anything
on it.
6 Instead, hit your right arrow once.
7 Hit your application key aka context menue.
8 Now down arrow until you hear the word "format" and follow the prompt,
which should say enter or click here.
9 Let it do its task, which takes a minute or two, maybe less.
10 Now you can view your cartridge. You should hear something like "No
selected item" , if using Window Eyes. Other screen readers may say
something similar, or perhaps nothing at all. That's how you'll know your
cartridge is now blank.
11 If this way doesn't work, go to properties and try it. I was assured
going into properties will definitely work.
12 I did it according to these instructions and was successful.
I hope this helps anyone wanting to create a blank cartridge. Take care.
