Merv,

I'm now on the Echoing list. Thanks so much for letting me know about it. I should have known that a list dedicated to the Echo would have been around for some time now.

David,

I received an error when I replied to your message. So I will send it out again. I do not use the Echo that is here in the house. However, there is a popular list for users of the Echo product line who are blind or have low vision. It is called echoing@xxxxxxxxx <mailto:echoing@xxxxxxxxx> So if you add subscribe+ in front of that you will be able to subscribe to it if you want to ask questions.

Right after Christmas there was quite a surge of traffic on the list but I think it settled down a little now. I am not on the list anymore because I do not own the dot that is here.

I laugh when I hear the Dot playing Spanish versions of a radio station such as K Love in Los Angeles when the local station here in Florida is requested.

I have also seen Alexa start playing in the middle of the night if her owner talks in her sleep, laughs!
