By default, the magic word to get the attention of the Amazon Echo is Alexa, although you can adjust it to be either Amazon or Echo. Now, Echo users will have a new choice, that being the word "computer" as in "computer, what time is it?" I'm quite sure this was inspired by Star Trek, where crew members of the Enterprise would begin a sentence with the word "computer" to get the attention of the ship's computer. This update may not have arrived just yet but, if it hasn't, it will soon be available.
