Bob,

Over and over, when the "master minds", as you call them, are eliminated,
new ones arise. Al Qaeda and its off shoots were not eliminated when Bin
Ladin was murdered by the American military. If you want to stop the growth
of these groups, you need to change the conditions which cause their
formation. That means, you need to change the policies of the West toward
the Middle East. You have to stop supporting Saudi Arabia which is the
source of all the extremeist thought and action. You have to stop sending
military equipment which the militants can capture and use against
everyone. This idea that if we kill enough militant leaders, we'll solve the
problem is insane because over and over again, we've done it and it doesn't
work.

Hi all,
Good points here and there is no doubt that if we want to put an end to
these attacks, the US and the rest of the west will have to drastically
change our ways.
Still I do support things like going after the mastermind of these attacks.
