What you could do maybe is delete the calendar.txt or datebook.txt file and start over and see if that gets rid of it, otherwise there is always the resets. HTH.

Dear Support,

I am using the Braille n Speak (July 1999 revision). I find the Datebook
extremely useful and, in fact, the text editing has saved my editing life
more often than not!

lately, I have begun to experience an error that I cannot understand. I hope
you will be able to explain it to me.

When I set up a calendar entry using Chord-O & e, I get the prompt "Add
datebook entry enter a number of days or a date mmddyyyy". This is fine. The entry opens after I supply the date. I then press "a" to add a new entry. I
can insert all the details of the appointment without any problem. I then
press chord-e to close the edit and this almost always generates the error:
"Error! code equals 49; code =30 physical range error 37cd6, range error
37cd6". Pressing the chord-e causes this message to repeat in its entirety
without the "code 49".

Can you help me to understand what is happening?

All the best,

Cearbhall

Hi, well, I have a related question. I downloaded the latest firmware for my
Braille Lite 2000 from FS but it won't install on my unit. Any ideas why?
I've tried the disk drive and windisk methods of transfer. Incidentally,
Windisk 3.5 works with older firmware revisions than FS state.

Cheers
Dave

Hi. Do you have Windisk installed on your desktop? If you don't then
BrailleSoft has it along with the other downloads you need. You need
it to transfer the games from braillesoft.net to your Braille 'N Speak
along with Unzip.bns. If you have more questions just ask. HTH.

I posted, and nobody answered, so I was just curious. Here is the
question that I posted:
Hello:
I just subscribed to this list, so sorry if this has been covered. I
have had a Braille Lite for a while, and I just received a Braille 'n
Speak Scholar from the American Printing house for the blind. This
is the only list that I could find for the Braille 'n Speak, Type 'n
Speak, Braille Lite, and Type Lite. If there is another list, please
let me know.
So, I listened to the APH audio overview of the Braille 'n Speak
Scholar and/or other Braille 'n Speaks, and they were talking about
games called Simon, Simon 7, and Hangman. I would like to get these
games for my Braille 'n Speak/Braille Lite. Where can I get these
games? I have tried the games
from:
http://www.braillesoft.net/
and they won't install on my unit.
Thanks:

Hi. I forgot I was subscribed to this list. I guess it can be alive if
people post. Laters.

Hi.
Is this list still active? I have tried to ask a question on this list,
and
I have not got any answers. I'm going to just assume that this list is
no
longer used until I get a reply.
