Good morning listers. I have found this list to be very interesting and
helpful, especially after aquiring my M20 in early June. It offers an
opportunity for users of Blazie equipment to help each other as well as to
complain about recurring problems and service but I want to throw my two cents
worth in for saying how much I value my M20. I have used devices with Braille
displays since 1982 when I began with the VersaBraille P2B which had keys far
noisier than the M20. Then I went to the VersaBraille VB2 Plus with the rubber
membrane keys that were quiet but eventually the machine had to be taken apart
so the area under the membrane area of the switches under it could be cleaned.
I also continue to use a Navigator which had some sticky pins until I found out
how to clean the display. Now I'm using the M20 and I kbnow it is only a few
months old, but I used it last night to take minutes for our local amateur
radio club and it worked fine and with the small size makes it much more
portable than what I have been using. So, I may have my problems down the road
but for now, I think the M20 is a great tool for the uses I put it to!
