[bksvol-discuss] Re: questions about quotes

Hi, my pet peeves for speech are the following expressions: "No
problem." when somebody is thanked and "Have a nice one." for someone
saying good-by. The second one is despised because it isn't specific
enough. "Have a nice day" is a lot more specific. I'm also not fond of
the word "awesome" being used for stuff that can't be described as
awesome. Regards, Kim Friedman.

Okay, sorry. I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that. I also
dislike the word "cool" for everything. One of my friends says "cool"
for everything. I mean, you don't need to use that word if someone tells
you what they ate you don't reply with "cool" or "awesome." Oh and the
one that really really bothers me is when people say epic for something
that really didn't change their life. Jackie
