No, Sue; it has no relation to scenes or anything else that I can determine.----- Original Message ----- From: "siss52" <siss52@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Jill,Are the breaks changes of scene? Sometimes there are a lot of lines skippedwhen this happens. I just fix them as I go, since I read all of the book anyway. I just leave one line blank between scenes, except for a star. I don't think this could have been happening asthe book was scanned because when I merge the pages, the Kurzweil page and the print page are consistent. Does anyone have a clue on how this couldhappen. It doesn't happen with every page and not even consistently with odd or even pages but the end result of pages is going to be about 200 too many so I have my work cut out for me. A simple merge does the trick and the scanis otherwise a very good one. I welcome your thoughts.
