Hi E,
However you set your page number setting in Kurzweil, it won't affect
anything except how you see the book. If you choose operator defined page
numbers you can then set the first page of the actually text of the book to
the number which appears on that printed page, whether that is 1 or 3 or 7
or whatever. This makes it very easy to do a page integrity check.
Otherwise, the first page in the file will be called page 1, and if you want
to do a page integrity check you'll have to calculate the difference between
the page number of the document and the actual page numbers appearing in the
book.
