Not necessarily. After all the email list is not run on the BookShare
servers. Additionally there are of course free message boards offered around
the net, but the level of advertisement and time required to load can be
annoying. Of course there are also software programs for sale that run ad
free message boards. I don't think BookShare has the resources to implement
and run such a board nor the funds to spend on such an endevor. I'd much
rather see energy go into developing the collection and the features of the
current website.
I also would favor the email list, I'm much more likely to read posts here
verses sit around navigating a ton of links looking for just the right one
when one or so keystrokes will get me what I want in Outlook Express. It's
similar to WebMail, I just don't like them for the lack of quick navigation.
