Hi Bob, If you start at the first occurrence of a header, that is after the preliminary pages, and don't tell your find and replace dialogue to "start at top" it will work from where you start to the end. So, I just don't start the find and replace until my cursor is placed on the first occurrence that I want to remove and that protects the preliminary pages. Just, as I said, don't tell the dialogue to start at the top.
