I do the same thing as Cindy. Bold and 16.point for the name "Table of 
Contents" 
or Contents. Then the rest 12 point as in print style.

I consider the title Table of Contents as a chapter title and put int
16 pt. bold. The rest of the page  I  keep in 12 pt regular, but if
parts, like the name of the characters in the Perry Mason book Table
of Contents is in a different font, I use what's in the book (caps in
this case)
