Hi Elizabeth and All, I like the idea of sharing information with the list as opposed to one individual, but I also want to respect people's privacy when they write in to me or the volunteer@bookshare alias off list. The policy I like to follow is ccing the list if the person who wrote in to me ccs the list in their mail (as several of you do). Otherwise I send a response only to the individual and leave it to them to decide whether they want to forward it on or not. In cases where the info is of immediate relevance and importance to the entire volunteer community of course I will draft a separate note for that purpose. Warm regards, Pavi -----Original Message----- From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Elizabeth Aldworth Sent: Friday, April 10, 2009 10:49 AM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] duplicate titles Pavi all of us are interested in these issues. Please write to the list when I cc you and also write to the list. That way, we can all get answers to these questions and feel less cut off from staff. Just writing to me means I have to forward your messages to the list so they know what is going on with engineering. List members are truly interested in this kind of feedback and you are one of our links with staff.
