I saw it, too, and it was definitely strange. I've seen a few cases of this 
but not throughout the whole book and not very often, either. Take care.

I didn't see the spaces.  I specifically looked at a couple of the ends of
sentences, and the period is right up against the capital letter of the
beginning of the next sentence.  I cannot explain what you saw, but I
definitely saw what he claimed.
