I think the list gets bigger and bigger because there are more of us validating than there are people on the staff who can approve, and that person (singular) has other things to do, too. But she seems to approve whenever she has a chance, not only during her workday bnut also on weekends and at night. I send an email list of books that have been approved each day to those who prefer to have it in their email than to have to go online to check. If you'd like to receive it that way I'll be happy to add you. If you have a particular book on the list and would like it approved because you need it for credit or need to read it, it's possible that Claire can expedite approval of it. It used to be able to be done. She's now approving books in the order in which they were uploaded, which is something we've been asking for for a long time. Intersting that you're a professional jazz pianist. I just found out that one of our regular used-book store patrons is, also, and has been for 30 years. Cool. And Mickey Prahin's husband also plays piano professionally and has for quite some time. He has several CDs out.
