Hi Amber, I'm not a specialist in these areas, but I am curious, why work in
text at all? If the download from bookshare was t x t, can't you legitimately
switch to r t f anyway? Just load it into word and do a save as, r t f. Best
Tom

  Subject: [bksvol-discuss] a question

  Hi all:
I have a question. in am validating a book in .txt format, but I want to do
a find/replace and find these work better in MS word, or RTF than txt. Can I
take the book and paste it into a .rtf file to do the replacements, then paste
it back into text? If I can't do a find-replace somehow, I'm going to have to
reject the book.
  Thanks.
  Amber
