Hi all you lovely validators!
I've been alerted recently to a few books I've submitted that had an
excessof junk characters in the scan. Please, please, if you download
a book of mine that has an excess of junk, reject it and let me know
so I can work to fix the scan. Now that I know the problem occurs and
it seems to occur consistently after shorter lines of dialogue, I'll
be checking more carefully before submitting in the first place, but I
rarely read a book all the way through before submitting it. So
please don't either try to accept it with the junk in it or spend lots
of time trying to clean it out. I'm a strong believer in making the
OCR software work for us instead of the other way around.
I apologize to any of you who have had to work extra hard on my scans.
As my validators note generally says, there is no need to struggle
with any scan of mine. I'm very willing to rescan part or all of the
book in order to make it better.
