I can't speak for anyone else, but I do use the synopsis Bookshare provides for the short synopsis. that makes that sometimes tedious task much easier, but I add to it for the long synopsis because the synopsis they provide is the same for short and long unless you change it, and it doesn't give a lot of detail for the long synopsis, so I use the back cover of the book for the long synopsis.
